ROX-TV hits the road to cover Project Born at one of Michigan’s first record shop in-store events for 2021

Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. The team recently hit the road to cover one of the first in-store appearances by a rap group in Michigan for 2021. The Flint Town Legends Project Born have recently been trailblazing through radio, podcasts, and music shops promoting their new book “Forever in the Jects”. The book dropped on Amazon and the group’s website https://www.therealprojectborn.com/ on July 7th and centers around Project Born’s amazing career spanning three decades in the underground.

With over three hundred and thirty pages of amazing stories about the group’s recording past, concerts, personal lives growing up in the tough Flint Town Projects of River Park, and so much more, the book is bound to be a hit with fans and Juggalos everywhere. Included in the book are rare, never before seen pictures, as well as stories told from the artists about the inner workings of their lives and journey.

Project Born takes the readers to the gritty streets of  Flint’s North Side in the early 1980’s and holds nothing back in talking about how life was for the members coming of age in a tough environment, surrounded by drugs, crime, poverty, and heartache. The book also includes stories from numerous family members and fellow recording artists including Violent J of the Insane Clown Posse.

The book is full of non-stop action, information, and is rather hard to put down once reading begins. Included in the book are pictures of some of the earliest fliers for the group dating back to 1994-95, as well as other show announcements throughout the years. For collectors and fans of the group and the Juggalo Universe, this book is a must have.

Project Born has been busy promoting the book on various outlets leading up to the drop and since the release, which brings us to the most recent public event by the group. On Saturday July 17th the group did what is believed to be one of the first in-store meet and greets to take place in Michigan in almost two years. The group descended onto St. Clair Shores for an appearance at the Trax-n-Wax record shop located at 26535 Harper Avenue. The group arrived promoting “Forever in the Jects” and to meet with fans looking to get autographed copies of the book and to interact with Project Born.

The in person event kicked off at 4pm and lasted just over two hours. The group met with fans and signed books before the event ended just after 6pm. Project Born had various merch, books, and cd’s for fans looking to pick up something for the collection. Also on site to add to the event were a couple of food vendors, serving up delicious coney style food as well as traditional Mexican fare. Fans also had a chance to get pictures with the group. Trax-n-Wax were very good hosts and good times were had by all.

As Project Born continues to steam roll through 2021, conducting various interviews and in person events, the sky appears to be the limit for the Legends from Flint Town. Don’t miss a chance to pick up your copy of “Forever in the Jects”. Autographed copies are available at the https://www.therealprojectborn.com for a limited time. Please keep checking back to ROX-TV.com for all the latest news on Project Born. Until next time, keep throwing up the “4”….
