ROX-TV catches up with the Scythe Gang 666. They have a new video dropping on August 27th and we got a sneak peak into the madness and more.

Welcome back to the ROX-TV website, I understand that Scythe Gang 666 is getting ready to release a brand new video on YouTube called “Hundredz of Gunz” on August 27th. What can fans expect to see in this killer new video? Mayhem, Anarchy, good old fashion crazy shit?

Michael Vanson-Lead Vocals of the devastating Scythe Gang 666. The new video is banging.

Michael: This video is Scythe Gang to the absolute extreme.  Hella gunz, hella ass, people are getting hurt.  Its a great time.  We packed as many people into our shitty little house as possible and we basically destroyed the place shooting this.   This is our first song with a feature, and we’re very excited to show y’all our team up!

Maezi: You will see: Scythe Gang 666, Sinizter, and debauchery. I’m playing my black and red Randy Rhoads V in the video.

King Zabb: The video has pretty much everything YouTube Community Standards hates. We usually get flagged for “sexual imagery, foul language, and firearms” but this time we’ve added “violence” to the list.

Skimask: Violence. Deathmatch type shit. Everybody took some bumps in this.

Sinizter: Absolutely killer video, as Michael said, hella guns, hella ass, hella ignorant lol. The song is a banger though.

The new track “Hundredz of Gunz” features a dope rapper from the Dirty South, the one who calls himself Sinizter. This cat hails from Atlanta and brings serious heat to the song. Can you talk a little bit about the collaboration and how your two camps started rolling together?

Lead Guitar is reserved for the one and only Maezi666. As she says “one leads and one follows”.

Michael: Sinizter and us linked up last year in the middle of the pandemic to shoot some videos, and we’ve been great friends ever since.  His music is fire, and he’s got such an amazing work ethic.  We’ve definitely learned a thing or two from Sinizter since then.  He’s truly an inspiration. Scythe Gang 666 gets a lot of hate not only from trollz on the internet, but also from a lot of our  peers in the scene.  It’s all good, I don’t entirely miiiiiind that, in fact, sometimes it’s even a good thing; but Sinizter was one of the first people to really fuck with us and support us regardless of what everyone else thought. It was really validating and sometimes you need that tbh. Nevertheless, I’m glad our first feature is Sinizter.  It feels like I’m just making music with my friends, and we all want to be there instead of trying to feed off someone’s clout like a lot of these collab tracks end up becoming.

Maezi: I met Sinizter through instagram before we even dropped our first song. One of the first things we talked about was our love for extreme metal. Since then I knew we had to collab at some point. I’ve always been nervous about collabing with people, but with Sinizter I think he truly understands what we are going for. He sent us back the feature like 20 minutes after I sent him the song, and it was exactly everything I hoped for.

King Zabb: Outside of Scythe Gang 666 I’m a music video director and after Sinizter started talking with the gang I ended up shooting his last few music vids so we already knew it would be a good time.

Skimask: I first met Sinizter on the Max Payne video Zabb directed. I had been familiar with his music for a minute but he was really down to earth and easy to get along with in person, I think that’s when we knew he was somebody we wanted to work with.

Bass is on lockdown by the one they call King Zabb.

Sinizter: As Michael stated, that was basically how it happened. From my perspective though, Last year when I debuted on WORLDSTARHIPHOP with my song “Russian AK” shortly after that, Maezi had contacted me and through conversation let me know that she was in a band known as “Scythe Gang 666” and that they had a music video coming out soon coincidentally called ‘AK-47.” Before the song and video were released she had asked if I would help cross-promote the video to which I pretty much said “no, I don’t do that sort of thing” however, once the video was released, I watched it and saw them doing all this crazy shit, the video looked wild,  they looked fucking wild, I messaged her the same day and requested the trailer from her so that I could share it because I wanted to expose them to as big of an audience as I could. We’ve all been friends ever since and I don’t use that word lightly.

This was your first collab with Sinizter and judging from the sneak peek I got at the new video, you guys make some sick magic when together. How did the concept for the video come together? Could we see more collabs between Scythe Gang 666 and Sinizter in the future?

Scythe Gang 666 just did a fire collab with Sinizter. The world may never be the same again. Grab your guns and ski masks because shit is about to pop off.

Michael: The song is called ‘Hundredz of Gunz’ so we just got as many guns and homies into our house as possible and we turned up. We had to take breaks between shots though cuz it was like a million degrees in the house with no AC and we were shooting in the middle of a heatwave. Shoutout everyone that came to the shoot and wore ski masks and sweated ur ASSES off.  You guys are the real mvps here tbh.  If we look sweaty and gross in the video, it’s cuz we are.

Maezi: I mean honestly as far as the concept for the video goes, it’s pretty straightforward. A Lot of things in videos we do are kinda improvised. We have a general concept but for me atleast I kinda just feel things out while shooting. As far as future collabs, there’s nothing planned as of right now.

King Zabb: Usually we just have a party and everyone comes up with their own scenes. Outside of that a lot of it is spur of the moment.

Sinizter: I had been asking for a collab with them since my first trip up to Seattle back in October of 2020 and they straight up said, “no.” — I felt like I deserved that 🙁 *laughs* But yeah they weren’t really considering any collabs at that time but, they said that it was possible down the road and that they wanted to be more established before they did any collabs. One day out of the blue though the band approached me and let me know that they had an open verse ready for me and that they finally wanted that collab so, the same day they sent me the open, I sent my verse back within an hour.

I always enjoy your videos, they are filled with lots of shit I find interesting. There seems to be a love for brandishing killing machines, some serious skin and ass, piles of loot, and violence. I won’t lie, I can’t turn away. For people getting turned onto you guys for the first time, what gives Scythe Gang 666 the motivation to go all out? Does your music serve as a vent to relieve pressure, so that you guys don’t go crazy and destroy the world?

Drums are on permanent lock by the one known only as Skimask the Drumgod. Can’t go wrong with a mask like that.

Michael: I dunno man, this is just what we do.  When we throw parties, its just like this.  When we do shows, its like this.  There’s definitely stuff that’s done on purpose or gets played up, but at the end of the day, these videos are just us doing what we love with our friends.  I don’t really want to destroy the world.  I just wanna have fun, and be lit with my friends.  I wanna make a place for people to cut loose and not think too hard about anything.  Life is stressful, and arguably terrible.  Scythe Gang is a place people don’t have to deal with any of that.

Maezi: To be honest there isn’t really motivation for me, we kinda just do what we want in the moment. At Least for me I really just try not to overthink it. For me at least a lot of what this band is, is doing all the things I was told not to do by my peers. It’s really a place for me to just not give a fuck and just go all out.

King Zabb: We just do what we want. The Sickle Kliq trusts and expects that we don’t compromise our vision.

Skimask: If I’m gonna be in a band, especially when it comes to music videos or any visual medium, I want it to communicate the ethos of the project. For us that’s been a hyperaggressive “fuck off, we do what we want” attitude. I never want to half ass getting that feeling across, it kind of thematically demands as much outward energy as possible. To me that raw energy output is the best thing this band has to offer.

I understand that Maezi plays “lead guitar” and not “guitar”. Does she have any comment?

Maezi: One leads and one follows.

It’s been a minute since we last spoke. With the new video dropping on August 27th, what does the future hold from there? If the world doesn’t die from the serious atomic death wave the new song is sure to produce when dropped?

Hundredz of Gunz is brought to you by Scythe Gang 666 and Sinizter. Get your copy today and check out the video drop before they ban this pure insanity forever.

Michael: Who knows??  Probably more music.   Hopefully getting on the road soon.  It’s been too long.

Maezi: Extreme death trap ist krieg.

King Zabb: The only thing I know for sure is I’m going to die Triple Six Champion and no amount of crying online is going to change that.

Skimask: I’m considering rebranding as a paternal religious figure. I’ve always wanted to explore the concept of fatherhood.

We always enjoy chopping it up with you crazy MFERS, maybe if you ever dip through the Murder Mitten, we can go shoot forty bottles in the woods. Can we expect Scythe Gang 666 to be hitting the road anytime soon? Or is it all going to depend on the fucking pandemic shit that seems to never end?

Michael: ayyy we would love that!  I really really miss being on the road.  I’m a road rat, and that’s probably my favorite part about doing music.  Going this long without tour has sucked, but I’m glad we didn’t go out this year.   We got a couple offers to tour actually, but we turned them down. Everyone on the road right now is having a really hard time, and I just don’t think the world is ‘ready’ for a Scythe Gang 666 show the way we want to do it.  We’re not gonna settle for giving you guys anything half assed. Once things start getting a little bit better, we have an absolutely insane show planned out for you guys.

Maezi: Hopefully soon, I have to replace my floyd rose first though. It’s rusted right now so my guitar won’t stay in tune.

King Zabb: The Triple Six Champion is a traveling champion so I’d expect to see us on the road as soon as possible.

I can’t wait for the world to feast on this new video. Until we get high and die again, I bid you farewell. Any shout outs before we shut this dope house down?

Michael: Shoutout ROX-TV, shoutout Sinizter The Apex Predator, shoutout Sickle Clique fam
