Darby O’Trill stops by the ROX-TV website to talk about his recent signing with Lyrikal Snuff Productionz

Welcome back to the ROX-TV universe Darby. We are always glad when you stop by to cut it up with us. You appeared in a ROX-TV exclusive earlier this year and we were happy to have you on. Before we jump into the big news, can you let the new readers know what city or state you are repping tonight?

ROX-TV would like to congratulate Darby O’Trill for his signing to the LSP Family. Hard work pays off!

It’s an honor to be back chopping it up with y’all. Once again this is Darby O’Trill and I’m representing South Florida.

We’ve received some rather big news in regards to you and your music. Word on the street is that you got signed to a deal. Can you tell us a little bit about that and how it all happened?

Yeah man,I am beyond honored to say that I was recently signed to Lyrikal Snuff Productionz under the “experimental drugs” project. In all honesty this is a dream come true for me. I’ve been a huge fan of Scum and the LSP movement for years now. I have a big LSP logo tatted on my arm and shit. When I began working with Devereaux ,we knew we wanted to take the music we create together to the highest level possible, and I’ve always had my sights set on being a part of LSP.

ROX-TV interviewed Darby O’Trill earlier this year about his music. It’s great to see the grind in real time and the results just down the road.

So while working on this upcoming album,I contacted Scum about the possibility of this new project releasing thru LSP and after talking about it for a little while, he was down. I’m so proud to be able to say that. I’ve worked for this moment for years now. Big shout out to the Gorefather,Scum(@scumlsp) for maintaining one of the freshest and most consistent labels in the scene for over two decades now with no signs of slowing down. LSP is and has been the pinnacle of underground and horrorcore music,and I’m excited for everyone to hear what we are doing together.

What were some of the thoughts racing through your head when the offer came down and was finalized? The hard work had finally paid off aigh?

Here comes trouble. The Gorefather SCUM posts up with Darby O’Trill and SHAGGYTHEAIRHEAD.

That’s the exact thoughts. Everything I’ve been working towards finally paid off. I’m still trying to process it all. Being a part of LSP has been my legitimate goal/dream for years now,and for it to actually happen has my mind blown. And to be announced by Scum as the new act on the label at Gorefest was some movie type shit. I’m so proud to be here and I’m looking forward to adding to the legacy of LSP and continuing to help keep the horrorcore scene alive.

Now that your on with the LSP homies, what will be one of your first moves for the label? New music? New Releases? A video perhaps?

Man, I have some really dope projects in the works with LSP. First off, we are re-releasing my album “Piecemeal” as a complete edition. Fully remixed and remastered with new hooks, verses, art by the super talented Nikoteenie, (@nikoteenie) and a couple other surprises. This is how “Piecemeal” was intended to be released and again I am super proud of it.

LSP just signed Darby O’Trill and Devereaux to the label. ROX-TV congratulates them and can’t wait to see what they get up to with the LSP Family.

Then comes the brand new album “Gully”, a massive album fully produced again by my brother Devereaux(@devereauxx). This new album is absolute insanity and I cannot wait for everyone to hear it. It’s front to back super dark and brutal, but has so many different styles of music on it. We also have multiple videos lined up, all being done by our brother Yung.Strife(@yung_strife), who has done the majority of my current videos. I promise you, if you are a fan of the wicked shit, and high energy shows, we have exactly what you are looking for.

When will you be hitting the road with the LSP family proper, now that your down with the clique? Shows planned?

As of right now, I have spot dates set up for each month for the rest of this year. Tours are in the works. I’ll be in Gary, Indiana Oct 16 for “Clownpocalypse” hosted by the good homies TeamMUJ, November 19th I’ll be in Michigan, and December 18th I’ll be in the DFW area of Texas with my LSP brother Cody Manson.
