The Unforgiven give ROX-TV an exclusive interview about their new video drop coming 11/1/2021. We talk about the music, video, and more.
Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. Tonight we have an exclusive interview with The Unforgiven about their new video drop, taking place on Monday. As all of the returning readers know, at ROX-TV we enjoy giving independent artists a place to be seen and heard. It’s been a minute since we talked with the boys from Seattle, so I’m glad to have them back in the lab. I guess that’s about all I need to get in, before we hit jump street, so without further to do….lets get it cracking.
I’d like to welcome back my homies from Seattle Washington, The Unforgiven. It’s been a few clicks since we had you guys in the lab and I’d like to welcome you back. We appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to chop it up with us. Before we get into the latest news, it’s time to play catch up. We last had you guys on back in July and I know you were getting ready to drop a new album called “33” which is available at Silver Platters Records in Seattle (for those of the readers who live in town). Can you talk about the album “33” for those people first hearing about it and why they need to pick it up today?

The Album 33 is our introduction album, basically saying “hey we’re here and we’re ready to kick some ass”. The album was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Maezi666 who did a phenomenal job. The main guitar on the intro, which is called The Purification, is done by none other than Joe Valdez. The one and only….who is one hell of a guitar player.
The whole album in itself, is a story on the representation of what the number 33 is and what it means to us. The album is hard hitting… packed with a super kick to the teeth. It includes 10 tracks plus a hidden. You can pick it up at all 3 Silver Platters Records around Washington, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music and other streaming platforms.
So back in July, I asked you if The Unforgiven was working on any new collabs and you told me that there was some dope stuff in the works. Can you tell the readers about the big drop coming Monday, who is featured on it, and a little insight into the track?

The drop is coming on 11-1-21 and is our video for “Everytime I” which features yung.strife. It’s the only collab we have on our album and is track number six on 33. The video was filmed and edited by King Zabb. How the collab became was we were filming for Wings Of The Locust and yung.strife was with us for the day hanging out.
Maezi666 had sent us over a beat that same day, now keep in mind we had already asked strife to collab on a future beat previously but once we heard what was sent, it was like it was destined to be and we all agreed there for the song was born. You can find Everytime I on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, iTunes, Apple Music and on the album 33.
I understand the video was shot by King Zabb of ScytheGang666. I know you’ve worked with him in the past, it seems like you guys have a pretty dope working relationship. Can you talk about why you decided on having King Zabb shoot this video?

Plain and simple, King Zabb is our go to guy and will always be our first choice! His filming and editing skills are phenomenal. The guy is a mastermind behind the camera and can bring any vision to life. Plus he’s the triple 6 champion… who wouldn’t want to work with him.
How long have you been rolling with yung.strife and when did that collab first start to shape up? Do you plan on working with yung.strife in the future, either more collabs or possibly shows down the road?
We met yung.strife during our first video shoot for our song Wasteland. Zabb is the one that introduced us to him and he also helped take the night shots of that video. So you can say we’ve known him for a year and a half now. Collab talks happened late 2020 early 2021 and it kinda just happened we each liked each other’s sound and thought we could mesh well with our styles.
Strife is a good dude and a dope ass artist. I’m sure we would cross paths on another track soon. I’m sure if he’s reading this he would agree. We have already had him come out and perform Everytime I at a show with us back in July but as far as playing together on the same bill that’s something both parties would have to set up.
I know you guys stay on the grind. Can the fans and readers expect more drops in the coming months?

We have a few tracks that just recently dropped, Doomsday, Unleashed, and Relive… all hard hitting and powerful tracks. We have a couple we are in the midst of working on, one called Soundwav3 featuring Doc Gruesome and the other doesn’t have a name at the moment but will after this interview is out, so be on the lookout.
We most likely will be doing videos for both or maybe one, we will see as the time comes. We currently are working on a new album that will be out sometime mid next year or by summer time. We are currently working on a documentary about the group which our good friends over at Laughing Dog Films are putting together for us. We are also working with our good friend Ohhdreamer on a collaboration EP project. so we have a lot of stuff coming up.
Who did the artwork for the “33” cover? It’s dope.

That would be our good friend Nick Lorton aka Doc Gruesome of Gruesome Graphics who we will also be collaborating with as stated above! Make sure you look him up on Facebook and Instagram for any future work and tell him we sent you.
Shout outs before we go?
Big shout out to our family, all our supporters , our street team (#UnforgivenCliqueShitBitch) , our haters , the ones we’ve been inspiring to do the things they want to, King Zabb , Maezi666 , Doc gruesome , yung.strife, and everyone that has helped us and believed in us on getting as far as we have… and last but not least all the ROX-TV readers. We do what we do for all of you, so thank you.
Well, that’s about all the time we have tonight for this one. Thanks to The Unforgiven for stopping by and spreading the news about the video drop. We always enjoy having them in the cut and will be keeping an eye out for their moves in the future. Check the video out Monday and show some love for the Seattle scene. Until next time….
