Maez301 Is The Newest Artist On Strange Music

Maez301 joins the Strange Music roster. And the future looks bright for this artist. But, does his style of music fit the label? Well, in my honest opinion Maez301 is a unique choice. But, that’s not entirely bad. We have seen many artists sign and part ways with labels. However, in this case I believe this is mutually beneficial. For both Maez301 and Strange Music Inc. So, let’s take a brief look into how this may play out.

The Music Style

One of my favorite artists on Strange Music was Kutt Calhoun. And in 2015, he had parted ways with the label. However, he got a lot of exposure for his solo career, thanks to Strange Music Inc. In the case of Maez301, I believe that whatever happens, he will be successful.

But, how will the fans of Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko take to this new artist? Well, that will come with time. See, in the current market, fans group labels and artists together. And sometimes, they forget that a label is a business. Why would you want a hundred artists that all sound the exact same? If I run a label, I would want various artists, each one with their own look and style. And this is where I believe Strange Music and Maez301 will flourish.

 

The Future Of Maez301 and Strange Music

Allow me to repeat myself. I feel like this signing is a statement that others should pay attention to. Am I the biggest fan of Maez301? Well, I like some of his music. Much like Tech N9ne, I like some of his music. But before you chase me down for saying one of the greatest artists in the industry is, “okay.” Hear me out, I don’t dislike Tech, or Krizz Kaliko. And businesswise, I love Strange Music. There is nothing but absolute power, coming from that label.

Now that we have that out of the way, I will say Maez301 is growing on me. But, would I have heard about him had he’d not been signed? Perhaps. So, I strongly recommend giving his music a chance. Because remember, it’s not just about the label. But the feeling we get when we’re bumping that music.

I think this will give Maez301 a chance to switch up his style, sample new things and learn from some of the greatest in the business. And one day, he may come out with a hit that shakes the world. The fact that he’s not a huge name yet, is a good thing. It means he is a sponge, ready to absorb anything and everything he can. And he’s in the best place to do so.
