Calling out to all wrestling fans all across the nation. There is a brand new series from IBW International Big Time Wrestling and proudly presented by ROX-TV. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I’m talking about Big Time Memories. The brand new show hosted by IBW Hall of Famers Terry Sullivan and Dave “Super Mouth” Drason, has really gotten people excited about the history again and that’s a good thing. There is no way to really appreciate anything happening today, without paying homage to the roots. The IBW has a rich and deep history spanning back many decades, with all the big names you remember as a kid.

Bobo Brazil preparing before a match. He was a ground breaking performer and is considered by many to be the “Jackie Robinson” of professional wrestling, helping to end the racial segregation of the sport.

The program recently released the Bobo Brazil season opener and its received a great response from fans that remember and cherish traditional wrestling. For those of you who might be too young to remember Bobo, he was the premier good guy force within the IBW, during his career. Known for his epic battles with The Sheik through out the years in Detroit, the story is a wonderful trip back in time.

Big Time Memories has a really nice vibe and absolutely stunning pictures of the Wrestling legends in the heat of battle. To see some of these black and white action photos in the show actually send chills down my spine. Fans that tune in will find that the show offers great commentary, outstanding visuals, and personal stories that you just can’t get anywhere else.

Shot inside the ring of IBW, Terry Sullivan and Dave “Super Mouth” Drason work extremely well together to give the viewers the very best insider stories. Bobo is a cherished figure within the IBW International Big Time Wrestling world. His matches were legendary and are still talked about today.

Just like the Bobo Brazil episode, the Terry Funk content is stunning and the kind of thing fans of the sport go crazy for. Terry Funk is known around the world for his impressive six decade long career inside the world of professional wrestling. He was a “travelling Champion” and would travel around the country, defending his title against all challengers.

The show is packed with special photos, stories from the people that knew and worked with Terry and much more. Fans will hear about the night Terry made his debut in Detroit with Big Time Wrestling in 1977 and his epic battles with The Sheik. Terry Funk was was born in Illinois, but hailed from Texas. His father and brother were stars in their own right within the sport of professional wrestling and Big Time Memories captures it all for the viewers.

Like I said before, I am a fan of history and think that the work IBW is doing is important. For anything to survive, the history has to be treated with the respect it deserves. So grab some popcorn and the kids, and get ready to rocket down memory lane with all the heroes of the past. Young or old, I think everyone will find the show exciting to watch and informative on the rich history of Wrestling in Detroit City. The tradition is long and proud and its about time to give these legends their proper place among the halls of history.
