Mars Is On Fire! Exclusive Sneak Peek Into New Single

Mars Is Making Good On His Promise, New Music Is Underway!

Written By: Sid Jones

California Bay Area horrorcore artist Mars is coming back with a brand new single and full length projects. And he continues to keep his promise to his fans. This is everything you need to know about the upcoming projects, single and more. We contacted Mars to hear about more of his upcoming projects and brand new music. After the unprecedented success of Throw It All Away, we needed to for absolute certainty that Mars would continue to give his fans more music. And this is what he had to say:

“I told my fans that I would either give them a EP, single, mixtape, album, or collab album every month this year. And I’m making good on my word”

Now, as most of our readers know, Mars released a single titled, Throw It All Away. What they may not know is that this horrorcore legend received several offers several major labels. And this was follwed by the radio play and attention the single had gotten. However, he chose to keep his imprint with Empire Distribution. Here’s what he had to say about the success of the single:

“I talked to an A&R from a very well known major label that loved Throw It All Away that was interested in a development deal because she thought I was a new artist making alternative style songs. I had to tell her that I’ve been in the horrorcore scene for years making songs about being a serial killer and killing myself and all kinds of weird shit. She hasn’t called me back.”

I am just as surprised as you all are. But, there is good news! Not only is Mars keeping his promise to the fans, there is another single on the way. A follow up to the previously mentioned song, Throw It All Away.

“This is one of those songs that shows what somebody goes through at the height of depression, heartache and at the end of their rope. The last single talked about overcoming those feelings. This one is about giving in to them.”

The single will be available July 31st by Mad Insanity Records. And major indy powerhouse, Empire Distribution on all major digital outlets.

Does this mean Mars is going back to his roots? Or is he going to focus on this transition? Well, according to the artwork and what he told us. I think he will be dabbling with a bit of both. Again, he hasn’t always done horrorcore music. But, that’s not even the tip of the iceberg. Here is the biggest news! And you’re hearing it first right here!

“I also have my new solo album “Locked Up A Broad” dropping in late summer through Force 5 Records, Mad Insanity Records and Empire. Along with a collab album with Danny Diablo called “Devils and Demons” to be released immediately afterwards through Force 5 Records. Featuring, Slaine, Vinnie Paz, G-Mo Skee, Lex The Hexmaster, The R.O.C and more.”
