Mumble Rap Is Dead! Artists Demand Substance In Music

The New Age Is Taking A Stand Against Mumble Rappers
Written By: Sid Jones
Mumble rap is slowly dying out and that comes as no surprise to me. In fact, there are several articles and RoxxxTV articles where we predicted this. And this is coming from an unlikely place; modern artists. Obviously the old school fans are joining together to rise against the modern era. It should be noted however that not every artist of today is a mumble rapper. Despite their reputations, a new breed of hip hop is rising and its up to the old school fans to join forces with them. Lets end the generational gap and make music great again!
London Calling
Master Peace is a “chaotic punk rapper” from England that is tired of the lethargic music. By all means go ahead and read that as many times as you have to. And I will also add that this artist is bridging another gap; The split between genres. Again this is also a main topic of discussion here at RoxxxTV. Post Malone collaborating with Ozzy Osbourne, B-Real working with the Transplants and so on. The future is looking brighter and we are headed into uncharted territory. And that’s a beautiful thing to witness and be apart of.
Terror Squad Opens Fire
I remember the old school days of music. But where does the old school end and the dark ages begin? Either way, we have a female artist that is also taking a stand against modern music. Remy Ma is a hip hop artist that is known for her work with Fat Joe and his group Terror Squad. Furthermore, she’s a talented emcee with a lot to offer. Not just for the modern era of music but for female artists as well. Coming in 2006, I think she’s the perfect candidate to open fire at the mumble rap and lack of substance.
Does this mean we can get a Master Peace and Remy Ma collaboration?
Final Thoughts
I have this crazy idea for a compilation album. And it goes back to the idea of combining genres and generations. Remy Ma, Master Peace and Tech N9ne join with Rage Against The Machine on a five minute track. And that’s just the first track of the album. The rest of the album you get artists like Kung Fu Vampire, Xtra Overdoze, Tre Lb and Mushroomhead. Along with these artists, we get REDD, Borialis, and The Briggs on a song together. Undoubtedly, this album would sell tons of copies and the streams would be enormous. Last but not least, Vinnie Paz and Jedi Mind Tricks working with Lyte and the Monstars!
What would the title of such a project be? And Music For All! It would be a project that basically states, “We make music because we can! Enough of mindless music, we’re flipping the script and making our own movement. To preserve substance and do something for everyone. No target market required.
