G-Note is the founder, owner and leading artist for Hog Head Ent., he has done a lot of major things on his own while leading up to the entertainment company he has started today. G-Note or GDash for short has been nominated for and achieved several awards around the Detroit, Michigan area while being recognized by major labels such as Def Jam for songs such as “Bag life” with Bnell. He has anchored his music with a global distribution deal thru Sony Music’s The Orchard as well as making his music available on all major music platforms.
G-Note is currently expanding his Hog Head Ent. company with new artists as well as new music from himself, as a man of many talents and a background dipped in acting we could almost expect a form of film entertainment of sorts outside of music. Drawing his inspiration from the struggle and living in Motown his hustle attitude mixed with talent and enduring soul we will definitely not be able to get rid of G-Note any time soon.
How did you get your start in music and what was your inspiration to go from freestyling to recording full tracks? Who was/where your musical influences?

“No I mean no lie all my song’s are actually really good that’s why it’s so hard for me to just release a single, all of them thank’s to my producer Killa Smuv he is the greatest.”
Will you ever sign a major label deal or forever stay in your own lane doing your thing in Michigan and continue bigger and better things to come?
“Actually, I have a Distribution Deal with a major @ Sony Records the Orchard. Also, my Music is global not just Michigan, I think independent is the best way to go for “anyone right now.”
How do you feel about today’s New Wave artist’s and do you think mumble rap will be around much longer?
“Some New Rapper’s are really good, and I think mumble rap will end farely soon as it’s just a phase in the new music craze.”
I heard you have been acting is there any truth in that statement and if so what are your plans and are you working on anything currently?
Any major or local artist’s you would have to work with if you had the chance?
“Of course NBA YoungBoyy, Lil Boosie, Tee Grizzly, Nicki Minaj, Lonnie Bands, Shredgang Booogz, Icewear Vezzo, Mauri Corey, Felaveli Ap, Alise King, Bee Streets, Mozzy, Philty Rich and Kitty Kash.”Do you have anything new in the works? Could you drop any hints?
Any tips for future artist, DJ’s, Freestylers, artists , entertainers and business men?
“Stay true to yourself learn the business and stay focused.”

You said obie trice got you into music is it just him as an artist motivated you or is there a personal conection?
“Yes, I grew up with Obie Trice he was my big brother best friend, and always said he wanted to be a Rapper. So I use to go over his house everyday and rap with him. And this was when I was 7 years old at that time.”
