Fearless Fred Fury Release Date Has Been Postponed But Why?

Fearless Fred Fury has been pushed back to February for Juggalo weekend. The juggalos are split when it comes to this news.

With that said, there’s different ways to look at this. The deciding factor on whether, or not to be upset is why? What was the reason for postponing the highly anticipated album?

Today, we are going to go through some of the possible reasons and leave it to you. Take from this what you will, but the possible reasons are in fact, interesting to speculate.

Let’s get into it.

 

Suicide Squad Treatment

This is my most concerning reason for FFF being postponed. Remember when it was announced that the film was being reshot, costing millions of dollars?

Well, that’s the worst case for Fearless Fred Fury. What’s the comparison?

Violent J spoke on how dark and evil this album would be. Perhaps maybe, Violent J had a change of heart? Or Psychopathic Records, in general wanted to pull some of the tracks and either add new ones, or reperform songs altogether?

It’s not out of the realm of possibility, and we hope this isn’t the case.

 

Financial Safety Net

Nothing against the Insane Clown Posse, or the potential for Fearless Fred Fury. Instead, this is more speculation on the growth of revenue. Postponing the album could in fact, lead to more press and promotion.

This is the least worrisome and quite honestly, the most understood reason. Forget the idea that this has always been about the juggalos. Sit back and think for a moment.

If the album was to have preorders set for November (which they are) then they could gauge how well sales do for the next quarter.

It’s also promo for Juggalo day. Perhaps this could increase sales for the event as well.

 

Feared Fearless Was Leaked

No matter how well an artist keeps their project under-wraps, somehow the threat of a leak is still clear and present. Already, there’s a rumored leak track that supposedly surfaced.

Could this be a reason Fearless Fred Fury was postponed?

This would be the most unlikely and to me, makes no sense. Expendables 3 leaked a month before it’s release. The movie came out as expected.

The differences are obvious. Fearless Fred Fury is an album and didn’t cost millions to make.

…Or did it?

 

Surprise Feature Altered/Cancelled

One of the things that made the original joker cards so successful? The features. Snoop Dogg, Alice Cooper, Steve Jones, Slash, etc. Perhaps maybe a feature wasn’t paid, replaced, or cancelled?

While this is a little bit of a reach, it’s still possible. We have heard of similar things happening with other artists and albums.

Collaborations sometimes fall through. Creative differences are just one of the many reasons. It could be the opposite too. Maybe they have someone lined up to join the album and intend on remastering a song or adding one?

Whatever the reason may be, we know that it doesn’t change how juggalos may be upset by this. Some might call it stale, some might think it doesn’t make sense.
