SXSW Is Taken Over By RoxxxTV

SXSW is the event you can’t afford to miss. Especially, if you’re an artist. And I’m here to give you a breakdown. Please note that this is will contain my personal experiences. And I can’t speak for everyone else that was there. So, with that said, please also note that I was going through some personal things, while being exposed to SXSW.

But for me, it was a life experience that no money could pay for. And I learned a lot. Not just from the people I was around the entire trip, but the artists I met. Sometimes, life throws you a curve ball and you never expect it. Well, that was certainly my case. And there’s nowhere else I would rather be than SXSW. Especially, when going through hard times.

Think of an entire city being turned into a venue for an entire weekend. That is essentially what SXSW is. And I’m pretty sure that’s one of the reasons Austin, Texas is still the Music Capital of the World. There are so many different venues, genres and walks of life in one major city. If you were going through something, like I was then I suggest taking a trip to SXSW.

 

Before we begin, I would really like to thank Carefree Foods Catering Company. They provided us with delicious sandwiches and made sure we had everything RoxxxTV needed. When we arrived at the RoxxxTV Mansion, it didn’t take long to settle in. The team picked their rooms and we commenced to partying. The 20+ hour drive caused us to get a little stir crazy. DJ Dankish is always ready to set up and start scratching. So, we ended up at the Penny Lane in Austin, Texas. This is the first official showcase for us. And we have interviews coming soon. Welcome to Hyped Up Live Sessions in Austin, Texas.

This venue had great acoustics and various artists. Even the people that work at Penny Lane are really good people. And they’re passionate about music. This was a highlight of the trip, and stands out the most. They even have a giant window that opens up to let cool air in.

But this isn’t the only venue that had it’s own flavor. As historic as Penny Lane is, this is just a glimpse into SXSW.

 

RoxxxTV Takes Over SXSW

This event was heavily promoted on social media. And it did not disappoint. We will even go as far as saying, it was successful. RoxxxTV House Sessions Live SXSW 2019. Yeah, that’s a mouthful. And it all went down at the Vulcan Gas Company. If you haven’t seen it, it’s up on our Facebook.

But it doesn’t stop there. See, there’s an event that we got to be apart of. It was our last day in Austin, Texas and we went out with a bang. The Day Drinking Party was put on by Broken Blanket Productions.

These events had top notch performances. And these artists continue to thrive in their respected genres. That is the beauty of SXSW. You never know what bands you might discover and who you’ll end up meeting. At the Day Drinking event, we met Paul Wall. And we even have an interview coming out very soon.
