Sky Swamp Orange is a unique band, as far as music is concerned. They are a blend of hip hop and rock music. But, there’s more to this band. They have substance and powerful messages within their music. And this song is no different. For fans of underground rap, or even fans of the film Roller Ball, this is definitely worth checking out. And if you’re more of a fan of screamo? Then, you may also like this track as well.
For me, I find Sky Swamp Orange to be truly underrated and it’s a shame. Because, this band has so much to offer. And to be completely honest, they are constantly evolving and growing. Suburban Reaper, lyrically is mind blowing. the double meanings are brought to life in the music video. However, listening to it as a song, you’d be surprised what you get from it.
If you like Hed PE, or bands from the early 2000s, I strongly suggest this song. Simply because, it’s Sky Swamp Orange at their very best.
Final Thoughts
It’s not easy, blending and mixing genres. In fact, one could argue that it’s too complex. However, I would say that these guys pull it off. And for some, it may be hard listening. But for others, it may be your ideal song. As I said earlier, there’s a lot to this band and the nature of their music. Suburban Reaper is a shining example of innovation and creativity.
