T Money Green Is Detroit’s Grand Champion
T Money Green (Edward Tony Green) continues to help build and transform the Motor City. And I’m sure you’ve read our previous articles on this man, including our top ten Detroit Producers list. But, in case you haven’t, here they are:
And wouldn’t you know it, this year at the Detroit Music Awards, T Money brought home every single award in his category. including Outstanding Rap Producer and Outstanding Record Producer. However, these crowning achievements came with sacrifice and a dedicated team. In fact, there are several artists in the Detroit scene that refer to this living legend as “Uncle T.” And one of them is none other than Big Hoodoo himself.
The All Stars
Now, let’s take a look at the ones that made this possible. And one of them is Shadow, one half of Dope Rhyme Villainz and he is part of T Money’s Roadwork Crew. What’s more, this group also won a DMA for Outstanding Rap Group. Shadow is the right hand man to the Detroit producer of 2019 and the best stage coordinator. Which, is part of the success in Hyped Up Live Sessions, hosted by T-Money Green.
And when I say All Stars, I truly mean it. Broken Blanket Productions helps run the live feed for Hyped Up. What’s more, is who manages him. And that would be none other than Jackie Wallace. So, when you think ensemble, or super group this is the team that comes to mind.
Changing The Music Industry
Not only is Detroit the true Music Capital of the World, these individuals are at the helm of it. Because, they’re moving and shifting beyond Michigan borders. For the fans of Sicfux Entertainment, T Money is the man that helped shaped the most recent How To Gag A Maggot music video.
Which means, Minnesota is forever engraved with Detroit’s finest in music. King Gordy being one half of the duo and the location provided to them by T-Money Green and Shadow. And I know this, because I was there for it and I’ve seen how his studio is the epicenter for Detroit music.
But there is something else I’ve noticed as well. Whomever connects with this man, ends up down the road to success. Now, you have to remember, T-Money has worked with various artists and labels, including Death Row Records. So, as you can imagine this isn’t luck, but education and knowledge this man offers.
