Rap Beef: Five Hip Hop Songs Admit Violence

Rap Beef Continues! Five Songs Admitting Violence In Hip Hop

Written By: Sid Jones

Rap beef continues to be profitable and dangerous at the same time. And throughout my research, I have found songs that, throughout history lay claim to violence in hip hop. Now, this is simply an update through my research that I will leave you to debate amongst each other. However, if you feel the need to make a statement, feel free to tweet us @roxxxtv or comment down below. I’m sure my boss would love to hear what you have to say.

But, before we begin, I would like to thank my sponsors for this article. And due to the popularity of this topic, I do in fact have two. First, I would like to thank Party Masters for supporting me and my battle. If it weren’t for them, there would no longer be a Sid Jones. So, if you need equipment for a podcast, wedding, or your own event, make sure you’re checking them out! And tell them Sid Jones sent you.

I would also like to thank 7th Dimension for their delicious coffee. If it wasn’t for their new Red Fred brew, this article would not be completed. So, please make sure you’re starting your day right with a warm cup of organic coffee. There’s no better way to Fite Back!

And now, with all that let’s get started.

2pac Featuring 50 Cent- Realist Killaz

“You see me and chills run up your spine. God made men the same boy, but your heart ain’t like mine. Press, they look at me like I’m a menace. I was playing with guns. While your momma had your punk-ass playing tennis.” And this is further evidence that violence hasn’t stopped. In fact, there is an entire documentary that focuses on beef with 50 Cent and Murder Inc. And that documentary is called Beef. So, if you’re interested in learning more, I suggest you check it out for free on YouTube.

And pay very close attention to what is being said.

Ja Rule- Loose Change

California Love is what you crave, so on you grave It’s gonna read: “Here lie 50, who snitched on many That half a dollar, that nickel, them dimes, and died like penny.” And, Murder Inc. will send they deepest condolences and sympathies. So, what makes this so current? Well, according to Complex, Ja Rule and 50 Cent are still beefing as of 2018. And rap beef wouldn’t be complete without mentioning things happening now. Isn’t that what we report on? New Music Television? Because, Shaggy 2 Dope told me that, “It’s not like it use to be.” Well, when was use to be? I need a time frame. And I’m waiting.

Yo Gotti Featuring Rick Ross- Harder

“Blood shed my niggas in the fed my nigga Gucci die. I can’t let nuthing slide. Ridgecrest where I resign Ridgecrest what I provide. Young nigga with them choppas ‘cause I know they gonna ride.” Well, if we have to talk recent, why not look any further than this grand story. Yo Gotti was one of the artists targeted at the Rolling Loud festival. You can read more here on the BET website. And it details the “hip hop artists who have been targeted in shootings in May of 2019. But, “it’s not like it use to be.” I’d like to mention he’s being charged with attempted murder.

NBA Youngboy- Murder

Come run up on me. Nigga it’s gone be a murda. Burn you and yo homie. Nigga it’s gone be a murda. Thinkin that I’m Stuntin. It’s gone be a murda. And if you took the time to click on the BET article above, you’ll see that this man was also involved in the Rolling Loud Music “festivities.” Now, I won’t beat a dead horse, as far as this festival goes. However, what I will do is state that he was involved in violence, he is a hip hop artist and I don’t think that’s a coincidence. However, my number one pick pretty much admits that this is hip hop violence, since day one.

Eminem- Bully

And here we are! Plus, I didn’t have to copy and paste a line from a verse or hook. It’s right there in plain view. Which, pretty much brings me to the conclusion that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Maybe a little accountability will go a long way. Perhaps maybe, it’s a start to saving lives. Rap beef will only escalate and get worse. Which means, it won’t go away.

And I hope each and every one of you have fun at Summer Rap Jam 2!
