Tre Lb “Re-Amp” Available Now! In-Depth Review

Get Amped With Tre Lb’s New Album Re-Amp! Available Now
Tre Lb has quite the illustrated career. In fact, Juggalos from all around the United States have been demanding this emcee to do more shows and his music reflects this. What’s more, his new album that is available now, holds promise that he isn’t going anywhere. Tre Lb is known as the artist that doesn’t make the same song twice. And no two tracks sound the same. While most artists flourish and try deliver something consistent, Tre prefers to keep his fans guessing. And no matter what song you listen to, every Juggalo seems to gravitate toward him even more. Which means, Tre doesn’t only raise the bar, he leaves his own mark behind and does things his way.
Amped Up
Beyond his music, in 2019 Tre went on a tour with his brother Shaggy 2 Dope. With demands of encores yelled from the crowd and arms waiving in the air, it is clear that he has given them a memorable performance. At every stop and every turn, this man has exceeded any and all expectations. But, when you look at the bigger picture it isn’t that his brother is one half of the insane Clown Posse. Tre Lb continues to thrive with his own theories, lyrics and mentality. And he will continue to do things his way.
Whether it is Chop Shop, or songs with Max Julian, Tre Lb will always leave us wanting more. Because of how diverse he is and unafraid to try something new, fans love it regardless. And that isn’t just with the juggalos, But all fans from all sub-cultures and counter cultures. Re-Amp is an album that does not disappoint. And just to make this point clear, this is a track by track review of the upcoming album.
Let’s get into it!
The Intro
Chaos, mayhem and destruction. All with a cell-phone ringing and even a feature with Daniel Dahmer. It’s the perfect combination of humor and a great lead into the album. In a sense, a precursor to everything you’re going to hear. From the insanity of chainsaws, car wrecks and bedlam. To a call from a friend, ready to record with Chop Shop at the studio. In essence, this is the saga of carnage, life struggles and still driven to succeed. No matter what happens, either crippled or in a state of panic, never say die.
The Return Of The AMP
I love the beat in this song. But, what I truly appreciate is that this made me a Daniel Dahmer fan. His feature on this track makes me laugh and bump the track. As I have always said, dark humor is the best and when it’s on a beat that sounds like it’s from the pyramids of Egypt, it’s an audible spectacle. And when Tre Lb enters the song, he does what he does best. Chops up the track and gives us some of the most clever wording and rhyme scheme. Truly remarkable.
They All Float
I have heard this song played several times, live. And I’ve listened to it when driving with the team on a road trip. And as I review this track, I’m listening to it again. The production and the drops are my favorite. And it’s really hard to classify this song. Is it rap, rock or both? Well, it’s certainly the latter. I love the bridge and the Pennywise reference, without the horrorcore is clever and layered within the lines. The verses however, are loaded with a rock beat and yet still blends perfectly. And amps up for the hook. Odds are, day 1 fans and new fans alike will turn to this track and share it with their friends. It’s got the capability of being played on the radio and featured in everyone’s top ten songs of 2019. And beyond.
Impact Crash
This song is straight hip hop and the hook is one of my favorite parts of this song. And I’d like to add that the rhymes are mind blowing. Featuring Sneak and King Gordy, this is a callback to not only the intro of Re-Amp, but to Xerxes: God King. The chemistry with this triple threat took me by surprise. And when I saw who was on it, I wasn’t sure if it would work. And I was proven wrong. Catchy and dark, this song is something to truly appreciate and quite possibly be another highlight of the album.

Do What We Do Mix 3
I love the beat to this song, but I don’t feel like it matches with the lyrics. It’s hard guitar which I absolutely love, but the first verse doesn’t quite match up. A club song, that’s well produced and sounds great, I just can’t get over the wanting to hear a huge drop. And then, the songs over. Confusing to me, but I have a feeling that others will enjoy this song. I’ll listen to this track for the beat because it’s that damn good. I can’t seem to ignore the mix. However, it is in the title. It is in fact, a mix. Not bad, but not my favorite.
On A Roll
This song is the perfect follow up to the previous. Xtra Overdoze and Tre, while different beats per minute they are on the same page and it’s well paced. Now, the hook his slow and it blends well with the beat. But once you get to the verses the song amps up and then it slows back down. It’s perfect for a live performance not to mention, it’s enjoyable to listen to. If you’re an X0 fan, this is one of the best features he’s ever done. And Tre Lb truly goes all in on it.
No Re-Dos Skit
It’s a good speech from Tre Lb. Motivational and it is the perfect precursor to the next song.

Lessons
It’s a deep and meaningful song. While not something I usually listen to recreationally, I still enjoyed it. Slower paced than his previous music, it’s a reminder of his life struggles. And more importantly, yours. Throughout the song, he gives advice and reminds his fans that they are not alone. I like the piano in the beat, and it flows well. However, it’s not my preferred style of music. But, I know the juggalos will love it, along with hip hop heads.
Unity
Tre Lb and Max Julian tell the story of Proof, Eminem, and ICP. It’s an in-depth track on how the beef ended and how it was Proof and Shaggy that squashed it. It’s a story telling track from the 90s and the beat signifies this. And their message is made very clear. The 313 has a long history of beef and violence. Which is important to address and I believe that if we had more songs like this, maybe just maybe there would be a movement. And Tre Lb would be at the helm of it. I love how it flows, the hook and the lyrics. Detroit stand up!
Back 2 Back Blunts
No album is complete without good smoking music. And this song is very relaxing, mellow and sets the mood for a good smoke session. Will E. Haze and Tre Lb have that lyrical chemistry and the autotuned works perfectly. As much as rappers and fans alike insult the use of it, there’s a reason and purpose for it. Especially when Will E. Haze enters with his deep voice. It adds levels to the track and after getting amped throughout the album, it’s a good track to calm down the listener and gear up for more. Now, you can get Re-Amped!
Ghost Ride The Whip
A Juggalo banger! Axes swinging and it’s Chop Shop on the beat. Again, another great follow up track and the beat is so sick. As short as this track is, it brings me back to the music I enjoyed growing up. As I said in another review, the shorter the song, the easier to replay it. For me, this was certainly a throwback.
Mad
Anger is your punishment. A song about accountability for mistakes you made and the lack of responsibility. And we have all been in that funk. The kind that prevents you from getting out of bed and traps you in the mindset of, “I can’t do this.” It’s one of those songs that reminds you of the consequences of your choices but the beat subliminally gets you up and moving. In the case of a beat that doesn’t quite match the lyrics, this makes total sense to me as listener. And I don’t think this has been done before. It’s an interesting approach to emotional turmoil. And I for one, am grateful for this song. And I’m glad it was Tre that did this.
Grand Theft Auto- Murder City
I have listened to this song, easily a hundred times. It’s catchy and it needs to be on your Halloween playlist. It’s one of my favorites. Halloween party vibe and horrorcore combined! Remember Ya Neden’s Haunted from ABK? It’s like that with a party beat and vampires! Max goes in hard and Tre balances it with his unique sound. A highlight of the album and now if you don’t mind, I’m going to bump it one more time for good measure.
Damaged
Think Johnny Cash doing a rap song. The beat is blended with acoustic and electronic warping. It’s about the consequences of success, motivation and the barricades life throws at you. The hurdles to jump and mountains to climb. Even after you’ve made it to the top, you may be more damaged than you were before setting out to make things right. Featuring his brother, Shaggy 2 Dope it’s one of the deepest tracks he’s ever done. And it’s not just for the juggalos, but for everyone. This has become my anthem it’s my favorite song of 2019. Hands down, it’s beautiful, heart wrenching and you can feel the struggle in your heart and mind. Don’t miss out on this song. It’s beautiful, mellow and perfectly paced.
Emilyn
Something tells me someone has some regrets and made some crucial errors. I cried as I listened to this and I can certainly relate to this song. On a deep level and it was hard for me to listen to all the way through because of how hard this hit me. But, I reflected on my previous relationships and realized that maybe just maybe, there is a chance at redemption and forgiveness. I have seen a lot being on the road with RoxxxTv and I’ve heard a lot of stories and tales of the road. Tre, as a woman, I forgive you for your wrongs. We all make mistakes, but know this. I am here for you. If you read this, know that you’ve given us things to contemplate and ponder. Forgiveness is much harder than being angry. And I for one hope that if this song is true, I wish you nothing but the best.
