Bill Burr: Paper Tiger Is The Best Standup Of 2019

Bill Burr Crosses Lines In New Netflix Special
Written By: Sid Jones
Bill Burr is quite possibly one of the greatest comedians of our time. And I know a lot of people either really like him or really hate him. Well, in his new Netflix special Paper Tiger he crosses a lot of boundaries. However, I think this is something we need in today’s era. The comedian dishes out a verbal beating against the easily offended and Social Justice Warriors. Furthermore, he clashes with someone in the audience for a heckler vs. comedian moment that should be marked as one for the ages.
Which brings me to this question; am I the only one that loves this Netflix special? When Dave Chapelle released Sticks and Stones, everyone praised him. Even though it received a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. So, the question is why is no one talking about Paper Tiger? In my opinion, I think people would lose their jobs, their kids and their wives if they publicly admitted to laughing throughout Bill Burr’s special.
So, with that said, I will be packing up my box here at the office and heading on home. Because Bill Burr made me laugh from start to finish. And I honestly think that anyone who takes comedians so seriously should be escorted out of society. There I said it. But what makes this so memorable? Well that’s why I’m here to give you a spoiler free brief review of Paper Tiger. His commentary on society is truly brilliant. From people being upset over actors portraying someone who is disabled, to feminism. And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg.
The comedian opens up his stand-up with “You know what’s funny about sexual assault?” And it gets better from there. In the modern era of easily offended individuals, this comedian spits fire. And I have to give it five out of five stars. I’m sure my boss and others will dislike my views on this special. And I could care less.
