Chris Webby is one of those artists that brings something new to hip-hop. And he’s someone that offers music for everyone. From old school hip-hop fans to the next generation. He’s traveled the world and put on for several countries. Unlike most artists in the modern era, Chris Webby does not rely on offensive or mindless content. In fact, he’s just wanting to have a good time and wants to have a party with all of his fans. And that’s the vibe I got from my first ever Webby show. Not only did he put on one of the best shows I have ever seen, he continued to perform while having laryngitis. Moreover, he didn’t take a single break or cut his set short. And this is Ann Arbor, Michigan at the Blind Pig.
Now, Chris Webby has given something for his home state of Connecticut. A sixty second song that everyone can enjoy, but a promise that he will always love and respect where he came from and where he started. Best In The Burbs is available on all streaming platforms and Chris is far from finished. October 25th, he will be kicking off his U.S tour in Columbus, Ohio.
November 5th, I will be at the Blind Pig where he will once again be closing out the tour. And I can’t wait. This artist continues to put on for his fans with Next Wednesday. Also available on all streaming platforms and of course he may be performing some of those songs live on tour.
