Blood Or Whiskey Animated Music Video Montpelier Hill Out Now

Blood or Whiskey is one of the most interesting bands around today. Before 2016, I didn’t know who they were. My first time seeing them was in my home state of New Hampshire at the Irish Festival. And then in 2017 at 20 Monroe Live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Undoubtedly, one of the best shows I ever attended.

The Dropkick Murphys went on tour with Blood or Whiskey and the Interrupters. And I’ve been to a few shows where I didn’t like the band. But in this case, each band was a headliner. And Blood or Whiskey remain one of my favorite bands to listen to. Obviously, I’m a Celtic punk fan any way. But the newest song from Blood or Whiskey is on my Drinking Music list. And the music video is entertaining to say the least.

The song is a classic from 2015. However, this only further proves my point that I’ve been trying to drive home on my live shows. While artists are convinced that music has a “shelf life” I believe this to be a myth. And this Blood or Whiskey music video is proof enough. The content of the song is a deciding factor in whether or not something should be promoted for a certain amount of time.

This band never gets old. Their songs are upbeat, fun to drink to and you can sing along to their lyrics. Poxy Pub is a perfect example. Along with Montpelier Hill. The music video is simply a bonus in giving you funny visuals. I hope the band does more animated videos like this. And I’m putting in a request for Poxy Pub!
