I’m sure you have all heard of the “My Little Pony” looking guy that calls himself Tekashi 6ix9ine. The same guy that filmed an under aged girl performing sexual acts back in 2015. This same creep just tried to compare himself to hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur in an Interview with the New York Times. Using Tupac’s rape conviction as his means of comparison. Saying “Is Tupac Loved or Hated? Loved!” He went on to say “Whats the difference between Tupac and me? I’ve Never caught a rape charge-ever.”
I can bet that almost everyone would agree that Tupac is a real multifaceted artist and Tekashi is just an auto-tune rapper. Tekashi held up his phone playing Tupac’s Troublesome 96′ and ask whats the difference between that and his “Billy” “A born leader never leave the crib without my Heater”. He claimed that by saying that Tupac gave back through his art was a lie.
The Snitch
Later 6ix9ine talks about how he snitched on the Nine Trey Gang in court. He spent only 24 months in prison after pleading guilty to nine charges of Conspiracy to Murder and Armed Robbery because he testified on his accomplices Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke“ Mack. He questioned their loyalty to him saying “Before I broke the Street Code, how many time was it broken to me?”
Conclusion
I believe we know bullshit when we see it. I also believe that we know good music when we hear it. As an Underground Music enthusiast I can tell you what the difference between an Artist and a fake ass rapper. Let’s just say Tupac is definitely the artist 6ix9ine is definitely the fake ass rapper. Tupac’s legacy will forever live on, 6ix9ine will never have one.
