Three Six Mafia Sues $uicideboy$ for 6.4 Million Dollars
Three Six Mafia Sues $uicideboy$ Over Copyright Infringement
Written By: Warloxide

We all remember the Three Six Mafia and their contributions to the underground hip-hop scene. Juicy J and DJ Paul the founders of the group have recently launched a 6.4 Million dollar lawsuit against the group know as the $uicideboy$ for copyright infringement. However with the collaborative history this comes as a surprise to some. The legendary hip-hop group’s lawyers allege that the duo illegally took and used elements from tracks such as “Mask and Da Glock,” “Mafia N*ggaz (Yeah Hoe)” and “Smoked Out, Loced Out” to profit from. It is alleged that the $uicideboy$ stole from 35 songs.

With Three Six Mafia’s hard earned success in the music scene, this comes as a slap in the face to the hip-hop legends. The $uicideboy$ made the claim that there was a verbal agreement with Juicy J. DJ Paul claims that no such agreement exist at least not to his knowledge. The real question here is, were they entitled to any royalties or other compensation? My guess is no, without the Three Six Mafia the $uicideboy$ wouldn’t have the fandom that they currently have. If anything, they owe all or part of their success to the Three Six Mafia.
