Kongo Kong takes IBW by storm during the six man tag team match
Welcome back to ROX-TV where readers can get all the latest news from around the IBW. Tonight we are going to be talking about the six man tag team match that went down, and of course, we will be taking a hard look at one of IBW’s most terrifying professional wrestlers, none other than Kongo Kong. As viewers and fans may be aware, Kongo has been running with “The Nation” led by the current champ Kadeem.
On March 8th, Kongo and the Nation participated in the six man tag team match and the action was over the top. Kongo and his camp squared off against Hyena Hagen, TJ Meyer, and the wild man Mongo. Right from the start tension was growing as the wrestlers were introduced to eager fans in the crowd, waiting for a chance to see their favorites battle it out in the ring. Mongo was exceptionally worked up and sported a large chain fastened to his neck. The sight was something else.
The amazing Frank Stanley, IBW’s golden voice MC was on hand to usher in the wrestlers before the match got under way. IBW Hall of Famers Chris Carter and Terry Sullivan were at the announcers table providing excellent commentary on the action as always. For the Nation, the first member to hit the floor was Brother Kuwait, followed by the Champ…Kadeem Muhammad, and finally the giant terror Kongo Kong.
Kongo’s presence was felt by all, as he approached the ring, but only time would tell how things would go. The fight broke out before the bell was even rung. From the get go, the Nation exploded with energy and dominating force. TJ Meyer had his hands full, with the Champ and Kongo, as he found himself cornered in the ring at one point. Kongo delivered a powerful leg drop and TJ Meyer was having to do whatever he could to survive the onslaught.
The Champ, while in the ring working over Meyer, delivered a surprise attack on the unsuspecting Mongo and Hyena. TJ Meyer, trying to hang on, finally was able to tag in Mongo. It was a much needed explosion of energy, with Mongo taking all three members of the Nation at one point. Mongo and Kongo exchanged a series of powerful strikes before Kongo seized the upper hand. A vicious choke slam by the beast of a man, standing nearly seven feet tall, was what would eventually end the match. The reply action showed the final blow, giving the Nation a win.
The Nation is growing more powerful each day and with Kongo Kong on the team, the sky is the limit. The reign of terror is only just beginning.
