Project Born’s highly anticipated book “Forever In The Jects” is coming. See the exclusive premiere of book trailer now.

Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. Tonight we have some breaking news in regards to the Flint rap group Project Born. They have just released a trailer for their new book “Forever in the Jects” which is set to be released this summer. Earlier reports indicate that the book, which was written with author Mike Shepard, could be released in the coming month of June but no official date has been released.

Project Born, who hail from the infamous “River Park” projects on the city’s north side, started rapping in the earlier 1990’s. By 1993, Project Born had set the underground on fire with a single release called “Losin It” which featured Esham. The release quickly established PJB as an underground fixture and also brought them onto the radar of  Violent J from Insane Clown Posse.

The book talks about those important years in the group’s history and features Violent J, who was interviewed for the project. The insights and stories are fascinating and are sure to strike a chord with the Juggalo’s and fans of the underground alike. The Juggalos know the songs, but for the first time, will be allowed access behind the scenes to read about how it all went down.

Project Born was the first ever group signed to Psychopathic Records and preparations for an upcoming release titled “Forever in the Jects” were prepared. The book talks about those early days at Psychopathic Records and the eventual release of the “Born Dead” E.P. which featured both “Losin It” with Esham and perhaps one of Project Born’s most well known songs with Insane Clown Posse titled “Graveyard”.

The book is a vivid read and often times completely in the “voices” of the people involved. The aim of the book was to capture as much history as possible, using the perspectives of the artists and people who were actually there. Who better to tell the story, than from the source. The content is user friendly and even people that don’t normally read a lot will enjoy the seamless flow of the book, which makes it very hard to put down. The action is perfectly paced, keeping the reader engaged with interesting stories about the group and their personal lives. Some of the things discussed have never been publicly talked about before and Juggalos who are fans of the Psychopathic Universe will be pleased to read about those “golden” years of the Juggalo Culture, when things were first getting going.

ROX-TV has been told that pre-orders could be starting rather soon, so when they are made available, ROX-TV will deliver that message to the Juggalos and fans. The book has some interesting features including never before seen pictures and a wide range of the group’s early fliers and posters, with some dating back to May of 1995. Any collector of PJB or the Juggalo universe, will want to include this book into their collection.

Keep checking back with the ROX-TV website for more details about the coming drop of “Forever In The Jects”, the brand new book by Flint Rap Legends Project Born.
