HB The Grizzly drops the brand new video “Manic Inside” off her recently released LP “Hibernate”. Check it out today.
Welcome back to the ROX-TV website, today we have some big news to share with the readers and it comes in the form of a brand new video drop by my homegirl HB The Grizzly. The song is called “Manic Inside” and it comes off of her most recent release and full LP “Hibernate”. I first interviewed HB The Grizzly for ROX-TV back in mid March. We talked about her moves in the industry, a little personal history, and forth coming releases. Since that time, HB The Grizzly has dropped the full LP “Hibernate”.

For those of you who couldn’t make the trek across the country for the “Death by Denver” show at the famous Roxy Theatre in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver, HB The Grizzly was on the scene, performing for sold out audiences and sharing the venue with the likes of Ouija Macc, Scum, Cody Manson, and many more. It seems that she continues to build momentum as the year rolls on and I expect great things from her in the near future.
As for the big drop of her new video “Manic Inside”, I was able to get an advance viewing of the finished product and I have to say that she hit it out of the park. The following material was created after I was able to get that advanced screening:
New Video Drop by HB the Grizzly for “Manic Inside” off her sophomore release “Hibernate”

Shrunken Head Entertainment proudly presents the new video drop from HB The Grizzly. The song “Manic Inside” is featured on her second release “Hibernate” with the premiere of the video set for June 4th, 2021. HB has recently returned from Denver, where she gave an amazing performance at LSP’s “Death By Denver” show at the legendary ROXY Theatre.
Video Review of “Manic Inside”
The video starts off with a haunting rainstorm on the edge of the horizon. HB delivers heavy lyrics set against some interesting back drops which include abandoned train tracks, isolated space by a lonely bridge and much more. The emotion and feelings are real and cut like a knife. You can hear the desperation in the message and can almost touch the inner turmoil that swirls around like smoke in the wind. HB puts herself out there for the world to see, and the viewer is left with images of her waging war with her thoughts, conveying the very essence of pain and sadness for her audience.

Her voice is strong and rich, with emotions running deep. The haunting beats and music combine to take the listener on a ride through late September. The wind is chilly, and the sky is grey. Some artists might need smoking mirrors and big distractions to take away from the lack of substance, but not HB. All she needs is an empty room, one light, and she fills it with that sweet agonizing personal pain of a life lived. Only people that have walked a few miles of tough road can understand the full impact and direction of this music. But, because the beats mesh so well with the voice and message, this song remains pleasing to even first-time listeners. I expect big things from this artists and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. If you haven’t picked up a copy of her latest release off of Shrunken Head Entertainment titled “Hibernate”, get it today.

HB The Grizzly has recently been making guest appearances on the “Cruisin The Barrio” internet radio show at CRB. Please check it out it you haven’t done so already. The show features some of the best cruising jams ever produced and is hosted by DJ Carlito, Rudy “Rude Boy” Hill, Eric “The Animal”, and A.T. Huck. The show is featured every Friday at 10:00pm and is always a good time.
With the world opening back up, my hope is that the music scene continues to reclaim its proper place. Music is a vital piece to having a healthy soul and an exceptional life. We all need to do our part in supporting the artists and shows that make and bring music into our lives. Support the local scene and don’t be afraid to get out there and show love. We only get to roll through this particular life once so don’t be afraid to be counted as one of the faithful. Stand for something or fall for anything…word to the wise.
