Get Ready Michigan “Chicano Fest 2021” is fast approaching. On September 18th, the party is going down at The Michigan Squeeze Station

Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. I have some big news that just landed on my desk, the Chicano Fest is coming to The Michigan Squeeze Station on September 18th and it’s shaping up to be a wild time. As you know, ROX-TV supports the Squeeze Station and have covered some pretty amazing events there in the last year. The place has a great atmosphere and is very “kind” to say the least (Cannabis friendly to the fullest).

This year’s Chicano Fest 2021 will feature some pretty dope features including the big homie from California, the one and only HEXXX. As many of you may know, HEXXX is coming off a big performance at the Gathering of the Juggalos, which went down in Ohio at Legend Valley. I was there to see him at the Clown Drip stage and he comes correct. You do not want to miss his performance at Chicano Fest 2021. He’s making noise all over the place and is a rising star in the underground world of rap.

Along with some great music, I’ve been told that the IBW International Big Time Wrestling promotion will also be on scene with some explosive performances in their own right. I’ve caught the IBW at the Jefferson Event Center in Trenton and they do “old school” wrestling proper, where one could say “tradition still matters”.

Many of you may know of the hot new series presented by the IBW called “Bigtime Memories”, which combines history with great documentary footage and excellent commentary by two IBW Hall of Famers (Terry Sullivan and Steve Drason). Available now on ROX-TV and YouTube. The quality of the IBW promotion stands on its own as a top notch outfit and I’m sure whatever they bring to the Chicano Fest 2021 will be sure to be a crowd pleaser.

I can’t wait to head down to the Squeeze Station for this event and I encourage everyone to get off the couch and down to the event. It starts at noon and runs till midnight. Another feature that I know the Cruisers will love is the performance by Cruisin The Barrio, which has also been named as an official performer.

You know the team…the incredible A.T. Huck, The Rude Boy, and DJ Carlito are coming through for a night to remember with all those old school proper jams to make the evening just right. The Rude Boy and DJ Carlito are also just coming off a big hosting appearance from the Gathering of the Juggalos 2021. You know the names and you know their home, CRB Radio…aka the “Cave”.

The Rude Boy and DJ Carlito bring the flavor every Friday and Saturday night for all the boppers out their. If your not hip to their show, act like you know and check that shit out.

 

There will be a stoned cold art exhibit, brought to you by the one and only “TheHoodPicasso” my excellent homeboy and fellow Los Drifter, Drew. I’ve seen his work and we’ve also featured “TheHoodPicasso” on the ROX-TV website segment “The Artist 5” quite recently. He sent us some bad ass paintings and I strongly recommend you check out his spot on September 18th at the Chicano Fest 2021.
