IBW celebrates one of the greats for a special night in the ring. Come on down to show your support for JCW Legend Mad Man Pondo!
Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. It is an honor and a privilege to announce that the IBW is putting on a special event to celebrate the living legend Mad Man Pondo. Yes ladies and gentlemen you heard me correctly, for one night only the IBW is pulling out all the stops in honor of a staple in the hardcore wrestling scene. Who better to throw this wild ass party than your friends at International Big Time Wrestling.
As of this very moment, there are ten amazing bouts scheduled. The big time action will be going down at the Jefferson Event Center (5474 W. Jefferson Ave, Trenton Michigan) on November 14th.
The doors open at 1pm and special VIP seating in the front row is priced at $20 dollars. General admission will be $15 dollars and kids under twelve are free with a paying adult.
I am very excited for this event for a couple reasons, but most of all is the fact that we will be coming together to honor a living legend. I think there is something to be said about paying respect to someone who deserves it and the reason I think this is such a great event is because Mad Man Pondo will be in attendance. It is a great honor to pay respects to our heroes when they pass on, but why do we feel the need to wait until they are gone?
I believe if you have love and respect for someone, why not let them know while they are still here with us. Let them hear and see it. How many times do we wish we had a chance to tell someone what they have meant to us?
A shit load and it usually is in the context and time that we can no longer express what’s in our hearts. I say fuck that. Do it today, do it tomorrow, and do it on November 14th for one of our own.
I was lucky enough to catch the Mad Man Pondo in action at the JCW’s Blackout Brutality event at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit City earlier this year.
The man is a living legend and I was able witness the devastating monster in the ring. It was an experience that I will hold with me for all time. This is living Juggalo history via JCW and I was there to be counted. So when November rolls around, come on out to the Jefferson Event Center in Trenton Michigan to support one of our own. Not only is the action going to be off the chain, but I’ve been informed that Rudy “Rude Boy” Hill is coming out of retirement for one night only in support of this event and his brother Mad Man Pondo. The floor will shake, the skies will open up, and the devastation will spill from the ring. Do not miss it.
