ROX-TV gets keyed into a Private Cannabis Party by Tropic Sesh, going down in December. Be there or be square.

So, we’ve just received word of a real live event going down on December 3rd, in Flint. The Tropic Sesh Private Cannabis Party. What was the inspiration to launch this event? And who is the event geared towards?

Creating a new space for local artist, caregivers, local chefs and vendors to do what they do, has been on my “to do list” for a while. This event is for everyone who can legally enjoy cannabis, also those who appreciate local music and good food!

The event is going down on December 3rd and will run from 5pm to 11pm. I want to clarify on what I read; I understand that this is a free event to enter?

This event is totally free to attend and will be going down December 3rd from 5 to 11 at 116 E 12th St Flint, MI!

The event will be hosting live music from Tay Boogie, Death Plus, Slim, Alley, Gabe Sinclair, DJ Chris Tha Cat, and many more. How did you manage to get so many artists to perform at this event? Could you say that they are “fans” of marijuana?

Most of the artist mentioned I have worked with closely in the local music scene as well as the cannabis industry. They all seem to believe in creating a new space for local artist to do what they do and have a opportunity to gain local exposure. I believe they all are big fans of marijuana.

I’m a food guy, especially when I’m smoking the kind bud, I understand that there will be fresh food at the event. What’s cooking and what’s for sale?

A local chef will be in, preparing delicious tacos and maybe some other dishes. Beef and chicken options will be available.

This next bit has also got me curious, the “build your own S’mores Bar” sounds pretty fantastic. I assume that it is pretty self-explanatory, but for the sake of the readers who might not know, what does this station entail?

This will be a station to whip up custom s’mores with different candy bars, there will be a fire to roast marshmallows to each individuals liking!

I’ve read that there will be free medicated Kool-Aid? I’m a big fan of the medicated stuff and have been known to knock back cases of this product over the years, when the mood hits me just right. Who’s donating the Kool-Aid and where can I go to shake their hand?

The medicated Kool-Aid dispenser will be sponsored by us at Tropic meds and Miss Penny. We will be drinking the original and best Medicated Kool Aid made by Miss Penny herself.

Vintage Pop-Up Shops will be on hand and sounds like another hot ticket. Vendors will be announced at a later time, but can you tell me any of the products or brands that “might” be represented at the event?

There will be a good blend of clothing and art. Most of the clothing can be expected to be rare vintage finds. There should also be some dope merch from our live artist in building. As time goes on we hope to add more vendors and feature sneakers, antiques and more clothing brands.

For the Security concerns, I understand that Security will be provided to ensure a good time and a safe time. I’m sold already on this event. Can you tell me who is allowed in? Who is not?

We are opening our doors at this Private Sesh to anyone who can legally possess and use cannabis. That goes for anyone 21+ or 18 with a valid mmmp card. Please expect to show I.D.

So the event is going down in Flint. What’s the location for the party, one more time?

This event will be held at a location that is new to the cannabis scene. We will be hosting this Sesh at 116 E 12th St. December 3rd. Huge shoutout to the GC3 and the Vehicle city social club for everything they do!

Anything else about the event you would like to add that I didn’t cover?

Only thing I would like to add is that this is the start of something that we hope will build into something amazing. We just ask that everyone comes out, supports our artist and vendors and has a great time.

Well, now you are armed with the information. The only thing left to do is get into Flint on December 3rd for this event. Get off the couch, come on down and burn one, and always support your local scene. Thanks to Tropic Sesh for speaking with us today and we will see you there.

Signing Off,
