ROX-TV’s news from the underground is back. Today we’ve learned that HEXXX has been signed to Ouija Macc’s C17 label. The future is here!
Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. As always, we are happy to greet the returning readers and also any first timers who may have drifted in. From time to time, we run a segment called “news from the underground” when something exciting happens or we get wind of major developments. Tonight’s news is especially exciting because it has to do with ROX-TV’s homie…the man from the wicked west, none other than HEXXX. The creator of the West Coast Wicked Shit has knocked one out of the park.
As you may know if you’ve been following along with our content, we’ve been staunch supporters of HEXXX since our first exclusive interview with him back in February of 2021. I was working on Rudy “Rude Boy” Hill’s book “My Life The Funhouse” (available on Amazon) and had been spending a lot of time at the CRB studios on Five Mile. The Rude Boy and DJ Carlito were hosting another weekly installment of “Cruisin The Barrio” and the word had been sent down that there was a special guest, flying in from the West Coast to be interviewed on air.
February 2021
I remember being excited to meet this artist, who I was told went by the name of HEXXX. That Friday I headed down and got to the studio early. A short time later, HEXXX showed up with his partner in crime, the fabulous Macey and the night got under way. Rudy opened up studio two, so I could have a quiet place to interview HEXXX, who was going to give ROX-TV an exclusive interview.
We got the formalities out of the way, and I started going through a list of questions that I had wanted to ask HEXXX, but within a few minutes I began to realize that I didn’t need the questions. Our conversation was fluid and interesting, often going in one direction or the other. All the while, the answers he was giving were far more interesting than the pre-planned questions I had. So, we just rolled with the chemistry, and it turned out great. (For anyone wishing to read the original article I will link it here)
August 2021
After HEXXX and Macey headed back out West, ROX-TV continued to follow his moves in the industry. He was working on a new EP, doing some dope collab projects, and above all else, grinding the shit out of the game. By August of 2021, HEXXX had landed another big accomplishment in his pursuit of greatness. That’s right, he earned a coveted spot at the Gathering of the Juggalos 2021 in Thornville Ohio.
It was an exciting time for everyone, when we learned of this development. He was slotted to perform at the Clown Drip stage and ROX-TV would be on location, covering the event for the readers. (We eventually put out a three-part series and will be linked at the end of the article). By August 7th, 2021, the news was official. I reached out to HEXXX for an interview about the recent developments and the homie from the 760 was happy to get down with it.
I eventually headed south with Project Born, to the Gathering of the Juggalos 2021. It was a pretty amazing time, and I can say this with absolute certainty, “there is nothing like the Gathering of the Juggalos“. Whether you’re a fan, an outsider, curious about what life is like for days in the sun with the Juggalo Family, or you’re just a people person…the GOTJ is the place to be.
Shit you didn’t think was possible can happen at any moment, and the entertainment never fucking stops. I was helping with the merch booth for PJB, selling our book “Forever in the Jects” (Available on Amazon and at Rock of Ages), and taking in the scene.
My homie HEXXX finally hit the Clown Drip stage and I was there to see it all go down. I’ve said this before about HEXXX and also about Ouija Macc: these guys are like pure energy machines on stage. They are explosive, consistent, and absolutely fire to watch live. I been saying this for a while now, but I believe these guys are the flag bearers of the Juggalo/Psychopathic movement and will be ushering us into the next era of the Dark Carnival. I spent the night hanging out with PJB and HEXXX, watching Insane Clown Posse‘s set on the main stage. Good times my friends.
September 2021
HEXXX rolled back out to the Murder Mitten in September of 2021, and I picked him and Macey up from Detroit Metro. They were in town for a special performance at the Chicano Fest 2021, a guest appearance at “Cruisin The Barrio” and to go on location for some very cherished spots in the Juggalo Culture, most notably Delray, Mexicantown, and Southwest’s most famous park…Clark Park.
It was a lot to juggle, but we were more than up to the task. After eating at a dope spot on Bagley Street (infamous for the street gang who adopted the street, The Bagley Boys) in Mexicantown. We stopped by the famous location where ICP had run into some trouble and they later talked about on Hocus Pocus (Off the Great Milenko release 1997):

I remember, we couldn’t pay the bill, they got hot
And beat us down in the fuckin parking lot”

After we got stuffed in Mexicantown, we headed to downtown Detroit to search for some coffee for Macey. She needed a pick me up because their day had started many hours before. After hitting downtown, we drifted down to another infamous area, made famous by gangs and trouble as well as a frequent point of reference by Insane Clown Posse. None other than Delray.
We stopped at the righteous Blackhorse Cantina (which is owned and operated by Rude Boy’s homies, it’s a dope place and must be experienced in the flesh. Located at 7844 W. Jefferson, there is none better for authentic Mexican dishes, beer, and a great place to burn a night. (Rude Boy, DJ Carlito, The Animal, and I hit the spot after Ouija Macc’s most recent stop in Michigan for the “Angels fall the furthest Tour”…top shelf)
We eventually linked up with the Rude Boy and DJ Carlito, before grabbing a bag of forty ouncers and hitting the Clark Park. It was an epic night, and we collected some more material for Rudy’s book “My Life The Funhouse“. Later on we hit “Cruisin The Barrio” for HEXXX’s appearance on the show and the following day, headed over to Chicano Fest 2021 for another fire performance by HEXXX at the Squeeze Station.
October 2021
The times came and went, HEXXX headed back out to the land of the lowriders and sunshine, and the grind kept pushing forward. By now, Juggalos were starting to take notice of HEXXX and his moves, if they hadn’t already been keyed in already. Momentum was building and HEXXX dropped a video for “The Devil’s in the skills”.

November 7th, 2021 interview with HEXXX
Me: Can you give the ROX-TV readers a little insight into the video?
HEXXX: “We shot that video over the summer. Took zero money to make. All homies and mutual respect made that video happen”.
Me: How long did the filming take?
HEXXX: “We shot it on two different days, a month a part”.
Me: Final take on the video?
HEXXX: “Got shit done, made magic happen. No green screens, no budgets…just raw talent and respect”.
March 4th, 2022
So, after the amazing run of 2021, HEXXX kept making noise and doing his thing. His hard work and determination was paying off and he was being noticed by the right people in the Juggalo Universe. The culmination of the talent and grind would lead us to the present day. The day that will go down in Juggalo history as the day that HEXXX had been signed to Chapter 17/C17. Ouija Macc’s label had tapped HEXXX to join the fight and to become the coveted first act signed to the label.
So, there you have it. My homie HEXXX has arrived and will in fact become a flag bearer taking this Juggalo Family shit into the next era. I was right with my prediction and if you’ve ever met or watched HEXXX perform, it was only a matter of time. With HEXXX on Ouija’s label, these two will be an unstoppable force in the underground and beyond. I was happy to watch it all go down in real time. Since I’ve been right before, I will say this…“get ready to be blown the fuck away, it’s happening. The future has arrived my friends”.
