Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. We’d like to thank all the returning readers and welcome anyone stopping in for the first time. Spring is here and the country is waking up from a long winter. If you’ve been couped up in the house for the last six months then its time to break the chains and get moving again. I’ve got some real important announcments for all the wrestling fans out there and perhaps two reasons to get off the couch and out into the real world. So get out your calendars, mark the dates, and be prepared for a double dose of some serious big time action.
“Lightning Strikes Twice in Chillicothe”
Date: April 9th
Location: Chillicothe, Ohio
Event: Fan Fest and Wrestling Matches
So, if you haven’t heard, Chillicothe has been a hot bed for some serious big time wrestling. You may have heard about the last event in Chillicothe that sold out and featured some of the biggest stars and legends in wrestling. Well, apparently those cats are back at it again and this time they are bringing more of the biggest names in modern wrestling history.
Like who? Well shit, for starters see if any of these names ring a bell: Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Sgt. Slaughter, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, the Rock and Roll Express, Tony Atlas, The Fantastics, 2 Cold Scorpio, Gangrel, Koko B. Ware, Brian Pilman Jr, Natalia Markova, and many more.
There will be meet and greets, autograph opportunities, picture opportunities, and of course…some serious action going down in the ring. The last show was a sell out and I’ve been told that they actually had to turn hundreds of people away, so don’t waste any time getting your tickets and securing a good time in stone. If you miss this show I guarantee you’ll regret it. These stars don’t come to town very often and it may be your only chance for awhile to get up close and personal with your favorite wrestling heroes.
“Fiesta Detroit 2022”
Date: May 1st
Location: 4132 Bagley Street, Detroit
We have just learned at ROX-TV that the “FIESTA DETROIT” event will be going down live on May 1st in Southwest Detroit. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, some of IBW’s biggest names will be in attendance as well as JCW’s favorite sons as well.
The towering beast of a man, the destroyer of souls, yes…the one and only Kongo Kong is back in the ring for this International Bigtime Wrestling event, and I feel sorry for his opponent. I’ve witnessed this monster in and out of the ring and believe me, you do not want to cross Kongo Kong.
Also on the card is the devastating and powerful Mosh Pit Mike. Known far and wide for his dynamite presence in the ring, his ability to dish out and receive otherworldly amounts of pain, Mosh Pit Mike is not to be missed. I’ve witnessed this man destroy wrestlers and leave them in bloody heaps as far west as Denver Colorado, and up close and personal battling in the JCW’s “Blackout Brutality” event at the Majestic Theatre in Detroit. Don’t blink when he’s doing his thing or you may miss something extraordinary. My money is on Mosh Pit Mike every time.
The show features many more IBW faces and names, so make sure you get out to the Southwest to see all the big time action live. IBW’s Fiesta Detroit event is sure to be one for the ages.
