Welcome back to the ROX-TV website. As always, we appreciate the returning readers as well as the first timers stopping into the zone. We like to celebrate things we find interesting as well as things we find off the beaten path. This could be anything from cult classic films to new forms of expression. We encourage people to reach out to us whenever they are in the mood and I really dig that. We celebrate underground music in the U.S. but we also have an open door to music from around the world.

Music is the universal language of the planet and probably beyond, at least that’s what I believe in. Everything is based on vibration and energy. I particularly enjoy music in this sense because songs that artists compose comes from the mind and the tracks they make are really just the “thoughts” from their brains. Like a stream of visible consciousness, packaged in a way that allows others to “hear” what is going on. These articles are no different. I take thoughts and translate them into a form that others can understand and see with their own eyes. Real magic.

So, back to the reason for this article. I recently received a press release from our friends in Poland. They sent me over some news, and I’ve decided to pass it along. Most people who know me may be unaware, but when I was a younger guy, I dabbled with the glorious “Techno” scene in Detroit. It was around the late 1990’s and I was able to find myself at ground zero for some amazing music, bizarre situations, and drugs that went with the backdrop.

Some of these most memorable situations happened at the Packard Plant in Detroit, but those stories are for another time. Anyway, I never forgot about jungle, house, and trance. In my late teens I was just starting to understand the music and have grown more fond of “Techno” each year after that time.

So anyway, Catz ‘N Dogz have been releasing new music this year and I’m happy to share it with you, along with some of their most recent material. I appreciate them taking the time to reach out to me. When people, artists, and anyone else makes an effort to connect with you…I feel that is dope and will always reciprocate.
