As we settle into the interview, it’s hard not to be struck by the unassuming charm of Danny Dollars’ surroundings. Seated comfortably in his triple-wide in Farmington Hills, Danny welcomes us with genuine warmth, offering us a taste of his world with a generous spread of ramen and Faygo. His smoking jacket, reminiscent of a trailer park Hugh Hefner, adds a touch of whimsy to the setting, reflecting his playful yet confident persona. It’s a fitting backdrop for our conversation with an artist who embodies the spirit of resilience and creativity, a man who navigates the complexities of fame with humor and grace. As we dive into the depths of Danny Dollars’ life and career, we are reminded that sometimes, the most extraordinary stories unfold in the most unexpected places.

Rox-Tv: How did you first get started in music, and what inspired you to pursue a career in hip-hop?

Danny: Well, you see, there comes a time in life when a boy must become a man, and someday, I pray that it’s soon, that you’ll know how this feels. But I was just a little toddler, and I knew these “rappers” were so weak they couldn’t carry a note like me, and that’s when I decided it was time to put the weight of the rap game on my very large back!

Rox-Tv: Can you tell us about your journey in the music industry since 2004? What have been some of the highlights and challenges along the way?

Danny: I can tell you it’s been a long, bumpy road—not as bumpy as some of these nerds’ faces because they don’t know how to use a Stridex acne pad (Stridex didn’t pay me a million dollars to say that). However, I wouldn’t take any of it back because it’s been a journey and learning experience unlike any other, and we still got a lot of traveling to do.

Rox-Tv: You’ve recently rebranded yourself. What prompted this change, and how has it influenced your music and image?

Danny: So before Gangsta Boo’s passing, we ended up building a pretty cool relationship where she would give me advice, and one day she calls me after that Dahmer show came out on Netflix and told me as a friend she wanted to see me become successful and felt I was holding myself back and believed I could do way more. So, we came up with “DANNY DOLLARS” with the music; we still kept my type of humor but cleaned it up just a bit. The main focus was the image and name, though.

Before He Was Dollars he Was Boo’s Friend

Rox-Tv: Let’s talk about your latest music videos with Rox-Tv. What was the creative process like for each of these videos?

Danny: Working with Rox TV has been fantastic. These guys really take my audio and give it the visual art it needs, and not to mention they make me look like a million dollars even though Bob still owes me some more Top Ramen, but that’s another discussion.

Rox-Tv: “High Maintenance” features Gangsta Boo. How did this collaboration come about, and what was it like working with her?

Danny: So, this kind of started back in 2020 when I posted a throwback pic from 2014 with Gangsta Boo, and she remembered me opening for her, and we just kind of talking thru IG, which led to me eventually doing a song with her and Lil Flip produced by Tre LB. She would tell me I deserve more and she owes me collabs because I worked hard (I never felt she owed me anything), but fast forward a bit, I made a song and felt it needed a female MC to roast me on it and sent her that not knowing how she would take it, but she called me right after hearing it and told me she fucking LOVED IT, and it was a done deal. The most legendary thing, in my opinion, though was that she was willing and really wanted to do the music video. She literally took time out of her hectic show day schedule up in Lansing to show me love and make sure I got a video appearance from her while she was in Michigan, and I’ll forever be grateful for that because at the end of the day she DIDN’T owe me shit but still showed me hella love working with her was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had because I grew up on Three 6 Mafia.

Rox-Tv: “Turn Gramma’s House into a Strip Club” feat Tre Lb is a unique and catchy title. Can you share the inspiration behind this song and its music video?

Danny: One day, I was grounded because grandma discovered my PornHub account on her laptop, and I couldn’t leave her house because she put me on a tether, so it hit up Tre LB because I had no access to OnlyFans or any of that, and I know he throws crazy-ass titty parties at his house and at that moment, we decided to turn her house into a strip club! And Rox TV just so happened to be there to film the whole thing!

Rox-Tv: You mentioned your love for the juggalos and wrestling. How do these interests influence your music and performances?

Danny: I hold both near to my heart because they are both a huge part of me growing up and always felt even at a young age the theatrics in Juggalo shows were one in the same with wrestling. In the juggalo world you got kids who feel like outcast and they put on the face paint go to events and its almost like they can escape the bullshit in the world and its pretty much the same in wrestling you can get behind whoever and your a fan of and follow the journey/show they put on and get so invested it can make you forget about the dumb shit that some of us has going on in life.

Rox-Tv: Can you tell us about your new hit song and what sets it apart from your previous work?

Danny: The one thing that sets this one apart from others is that we are making a difference! Kids around the world are gonna hear it and not be so disappointed to go to Grandma’s house anymore! They will understand they don’t have to eat them nasty-ass toffee candies anymore if they don’t want to and in fact, they too can also TURN GRAMMA’S HOUSE TO A STRIP CLUB! Just like me and Tre LB did.

Rox-Tv: You’re described as a full-time heel and Hollywood’s favorite blonde. Can you elaborate on this persona and how it reflects in your music and videos?

Danny: The claims are exactly what they say! Hollywood loves me and I am, in fact, the hottest blonde but they don’t have enough money to afford me which is why you don’t see me in the movies or on the TV! I’m the hottest heel on the market and every major label is BEGGING me on they’re hands and knees to sign.

Rox-Tv: Your hairline is often mentioned as one of the rawest in the rap game. Is this a natural feature, or is there a story behind it?

Danny: I was born with this masterpiece of luscious locks that the Greek gods called “DA GOLDEN SKULLET.”

Rox-Tv: How did your collaboration with Rox-Tv come about, and what has the experience been like working with them on multiple music videos?

Danny: So one night, I was sitting in my Limousine eating glorious amounts of TOP RAMEN with a couple of strippers and I saw a group of cameramen outside trying to catch a glimpse of my hairline in person TMZ style, so I decided I’d give them a shot at 1 pack of Top Ramen for themselves and from there we have been creating the type of history that will be taught in history class in the coming years.

Rox-Tv: What do you appreciate most about Rox-Tv’s approach to music video production?

Danny: These guys make me look better Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie

Rox-Tv: Can you share any behind-the-scenes anecdotes or interesting moments from the filming of your music videos with Rox-Tv?

Danny: At the ‘I Wrassled gators in the bayou” Video shoot I caught bob rox trying to sneak off with a pack of my almighty ramen noodles and decided I would let him go BUT only if he could beat me in a arm wrasslin match.can you guess who won?We all know its no secret I got the LARGEST ARMS IN DA ENTIRE RAP GAME

Rox-Tv: You have pending sponsorships with Ramen & Bass Pro Shops. Can you tell us more about these partnerships and how they align with your music career?

Danny: I can’t talk much about these YET however lets just say me and Rox TV are gonna be rolling butt naked in MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS (With some naked women of course)

Rox-Tv: Who is Unknown Lucha’s kid, and what is the story behind your connection with them?

Danny: This man (if we can even call him that) Da Unknown Lucha has been smearing my name publicly and bullying me saying things like I only shaved the top of my hair bald because I “Have head Lice” and he keeps putting CGI on my videos to make it look like my hairline goes back further than The Democratic Party so I had to swoop in on my private eagle and show his kid how to be a REAL MAN Since he wasn’t able to accomplish that!

Rox-Tv: Flapjack is mentioned in your bio. Is Flapjack related to you, or is there a story behind this reference?

Danny Dollars & Flapjack Wilson

Danny: Let’s just say Flapjack Wilson is the man who specializes in “Papers” and was able to get me some pretty disturbing documents from Da Unknown Lucha’s moms onlyfans page

Rox-Tv: What are your plans and goals for your music career in the near future?

Danny: My plan is to take over as many households as possible by hitting everyone I can with a Frankenberry eclipse

Rox-Tv: Can you share any upcoming projects or collaborations that your fans can look forward to?

Danny: As of today, I will be completing my new project “CHRONICLES OF DA MILFMAN”

Rox-Tv: What have been some of your greatest achievements or proudest moments in your music career so far?

Danny: Growing up 1 of my favorite rap groups was Three 6 Mafia/Hypnotize Minds so opening up for them and then later going on to do multiple collabs with Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, La Chat, and Koopsta Knicca is 1 thing I think is super fucking dope. I have also done songs with legends like Lil Flip and Lil B The Basedgod plus not to mention being able to do skits with some Wrestling legends like Ron Simmons, Brutus Beefcake, Mean Gene (R.I.P), Jake The Snake, and Marty Jannetty is a huge thing to me

Rox-Tv: On the flip side, what have been some of the biggest challenges or setbacks you’ve faced, and how did you overcome them?

Danny: Sometimes being different from other stuff people are used to seeing or hearing makes it harder for people to come around and accept because they may not “get it” but the best thing I have done and will keep doing to overcome it is just being me and doing what I want to do art-wise

Rox-Tv: Reflecting on your journey in music, is there anything you would do differently if you could go back in time?

Danny: I wouldn’t take nothing back because even what failed me was a learning experience and at the end of life, memories and experiences are the only thing we take with us
