Facebook Is Taking Away Your Freedom Of Speech This Is How

Facebook is continuing its march on our rights and stripping away our freedom of speech. And before you start off with your political rhetoric, listen up. Because I have some terrible news for you. Before my controversial live-streams, my show clocked in at 2.5 thousand viewers on average. Now, Sid Talks is barely making it to 500 views an episode. Now at first I’m thinking, “It’s just me.” But as time goes on, I’m noticing a lot of people are unable to stream whenever they want. And this becomes a serious issue.

After all, this is a free country and with that comes first amendment rights. Well unfortunately, this may not be the case. In fact, my articles are not in the public eye on Facebook. And the only way I can combat this, is to share on Twitter and turn my attention to utilizing YouTube. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to back down from this fight.

When it comes right down to it, there isn’t much I can do alone. And I will need your help in supporting not just me, but RoxxxTV as a whole. Whether you love me, or hate me I will not censor you nor will I comply with any of these terms of agreement that are set in place with Facebook or YouTube.

Facebook Embraces Censorship Not Freedoms

So, as you all know Facebook allows people to report your posts and bans you from sharing content. And if it is what they deem “gruesome” they cover your image unless it is clicked on. But why can’t they do this with all of your posts? Because they are in favor of censorship and violating your rights.

And in most cases, they take away your ability to use messenger. However, this can be combatted with the use of other social media platforms. And I suggest using Twitter and SnapChat when this occurs. But make sure you create a new Facebook account and maybe even several.

Second, you can rely on your friends to continue to share your material within messenger and Twitter. Again I am telling you to NOT give in. Especially if they’re controlling what you can and cannot do. Another tactic is to scroll through your friends and find out who’s reporting your content and blocking them. Make sure you’re only friends with people that you know for sure are not overly sensitive. And that means no political affiliation or motives that contradict yours.

Lastly, avoid anyone with strong religious ties. And let me tell you these people can be the absolute worst. Ladies, please make sure you’re banning and blocking guys that are ridiculing you. Because they are the first ones to report anything. Furthermore, avoid any family members you may find to be overbearing. Delete them immediately.

No More Self Promoting (Unless You Pay)

One of the things happening right now is the limitations on sharing. Because Facebook wants you to pay for add boosting. And in not boosting your posts, you will be in violation of their policies. Isn’t capitalism amazing? Now, this is something people constantly discuss. And its true in the entertainment world, “You must pay to play.” Before all of these changes, you could make it on your own. But as you can see, Facebook, social media and record labels all have one motivation: Making money off of you. You are a dollar sign and this has been the case since you were in school.

Moreover, there’s a reason you cannot start your own business so easily. Nor will people give you a leg up unless they see “worth in you.” And once you figure out a way to grow on your own, they will stomp out your fire with no hesitation. Listen very carefully, they don’t want anything to do with you until you have something to offer. And this can be both a good and a bad thing. But there is a chance you will be taken advantage of. You don’t get to be something bigger than yourself without playing by society’s rules.

You don’t get to grow on your own and you will be at the mercy of billion dollar companies. And where does the money go? Right into their pockets. And we both know these are not charitable individuals.

Mission Statement And My Promise

When I first got involved with RoxxxTV, my job was to simply report on music. And yes, I admit I may have sparked controversy and anger this past summer. However, in doing so I’m a better person for it. So, with that said I am no longer implementing any sort of drama within the music community. Instead, I am turning my focus to countercultures as a whole. Which means that I consider not just the underground my home, but those that stand against oppression and fascism. From bikers unable to wear three-piece patches to hip hop artists combating the president of the United States.

I will not back down from Facebook, nor will I allow others to be censored without a fight. And if things keep going down this dark road, we will lose our rights. Juggalos unable to have hatchetman stickers on their car, bikers being told what they can and cannot wear. And that’s not even the tip of the iceberg. Our right to assemble is now a privilege. Not only are we needing permission from the government to speak freely, we need their permission for everything else. And Facebook is already promising to comply with governments all around the world.

I will fight fire with fire and I will continue to push my content and be apart of the greatest media company in the world. And I will stand for your rights whether you love me or hate me.

New Schedule

My Thursday show will no longer be on Facebook. Instead, you will receive an article with a glimpse into what will be talked about on YouTube. Mondays and Saturdays will be live there and once a week, I will go live on my Sid Jones page. And that’s just to keep irritating the social media platform. Due to the fact that I cannot share into groups, I ask each and every one of you to please share my content for me. And I will be giving you a tutorial on how to do so.

What Can You Do To Fight For Your Rights?

First off, do NOT comply with their regulations. And there is a lot you can do to combat this, which I will be discussing in detail on my show. However, what you can do in the meantime is create groups on Facebook and start posting content. And all of my material is free to use and post from the RoxxxTV page.

Second, you can start writing for our website and let your voice be heard. Our website is open to anything music, movies, or even sports related content. And that is yours to do with as far as posting. Also, make sure to share our content with your friends and family. Even though I am banned from sharing into groups, I can still share in private messages.

Finally, and this is crucial. You can write your local congressman and senators to demand your rights. Rest assure, I am already in the process of emailing local legislatures from Michigan to New Hampshire. And more importantly, know your rights! The Bill of Rights and the United States Constitution are at your disposal. Utilize them both.
