Underground Continues To Cause Drama Regarding Kaliko
Underground Music Scene Home To Fake News (still)
Underground fans prove to be a burden in a lot of cases. And I can’t tell if its sheer boredom or the wanting to stir up controversy. While Krizz Kaliko leaving Strang Music may be a shock to some, it appears someone in the underground is not happy. So, in their infinite wisdom a fake Instagram post has been released to social media. As shown below:
As you can see, people are reacting to this fake post. And now you’re probably asking, “How do we know its fake?” Well that’s because I got confirmation from a source that I will not give at this time. And truthfully, it doesn’t matter. Or maybe, just maybe I went and looked at Kaliko’s IG to see for myself instead of taking a Facebook post at face value. Pun intended. So, with that said how about taking my advice: Stop making posts like this. For two reasons. The first one being, its more work for me. I have to take time out of my day to address this situation. Second, it gives off a bad impression. Finally, it makes artists not want to interact with their fans as much.
If I got a VIP pass to an event and my favorite artist isn’t excited that I’m there, I can’t blame them. In today’s age of everyone wanting to stir up some drama, especially in the underground I wouldn’t want to interact with people either. Things like this are off-putting and underhanded. You’re causing more damage than you realize.
Final Thoughts
I’m not upset Kaliko left Strange Music. Nor am I shocked. He’s a grown man who can make his own decisions. And to be completely honest, his reason for leaving is NONE OF OUR BUSINESS. Its times like this I’m grateful I’m not covering the underground anymore. On the other hand, its reasons like this why I want to come back to covering underground news and stories. Because while my articles may be controversial, I’m at least willing to share facts and opinions. Furthermore, I’m willing to explain which is opinion and which is fact.
I’m not perfect by any means, but I’m here to tell you this; I don’t want to discuss this topic any further. Take my suggestion or don’t but you’re living in a world where people believe everything they read. Therefore, you have some sort of responsibility in the things you do. Be accountable and stop being ignorant.
