“It should be noted, Pallazo and Martinson were both positively identified with the assistance of Sergeant Nicholas Rae of Warwick Police Department. Warwick police developed intelligence that Pallazo and Martinson were linked to a gang who call themselves “WARAQ”. Sergeant Rae was able to obtain Facebook video containing incriminating video footage of the suspects clearly inciting riots and encouraging protesters to storm the Mall to loot and damage property”

Welcome to the ROX-TV website. I was recently advised about an upcoming WARAQ WORLD TOUR, coming to Michigan on April 17th at Simon’s After Dark in Allen Park. I had heard the name of the group before but beyond that, I must admit that I didn’t know that much about the artists.
I decided to start poking around and immediately found some press, in regards to a riot that two members of Waraq are accused of inciting (William Pallazo and Joshua Martinson). After reading about the riot, I decided to reach out to Fury and ask him some questions about Waraq. Within hours, Fury had responded to my questions.
Before we get any deeper, could you please tell the ROX-TV readers who you are?

For the new fans or people wanting to hear more, where can they purchase and find Waraq material?

In the course of my reading, it appears that everyone see’s what they want to when looking at Waraq. I’m an old school Juggalo and used to hear some of the same criticisms about ICP back in the early nineties (these points of view were from people I had mentioned Waraq to, that is all, nothing more or less). People didn’t understand the music or were just hating on it, and the fastest shortcut to thinking was to attack the group, music, and fans. How has the group dealt with this? Or is it a case or not listening to anyone not down for the cause?
We literally have never heard any criticism because we are perfect.
Is there any news or information that you’d like to tease out in the article? Perhaps in preparation for the upcoming show, or maybe some new material or projects on the horizon?
Waraq’s new album coming on Leathal Wreckords in 2021.
This is the space to say whatever you feel like…
Obviously there was a rapper, dropping some lyrics, while reading off his phone. I wasn’t sure what to make of that but again, fuck it, I was watching and I couldn’t turn away. So these guys are doing their thing, when all of a sudden a door appears for no reason, standing in the backyard, defying any logic what so ever. One of the homies walks away from the group briefly, seems to notice that this fucking weird door is hanging around, does some kind of American Ninja Karate hand move (from the 80’s) and lunges at this door, which again, seems to materialize out of nowhere and has no known purpose.

I’m like “ok, that was a trip”. Opinions start to formulate, and ideas about what this group is all about……but…then I clicked on another video called “Waraq Raq Stars Cypher” posted on YouTube on January 16, 2021 (15,000 views and moving) and my mind was blown. These guys are either the fastest learners on the planet, lucky, clever, or just plain calculated because the track is pretty good, and is light years from that June 30th, 2020 posting. Seven months isn’t a very long time. But somehow Waraq went from acapella back yard rapping, reading off their phones, with karate chop doors and hidden rappers under the house……to a pretty interesting video, which looks very professional and sounds good. The visuals are the good. What the fuck happened there?
